HYDRAA demolishes illegal structures in Illapur Tanda, Ameenpur

Hyderabad: In a decisive action against illegal encroachments, the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) demolished several unauthorised structures in Illapur Tanda, Ameenpur, Sangareddy district on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The operation aimed to reclaim 20 acres of government land, which had been encroached upon.

Local residents had reported encroachments on Survey Number 119, allegedly by unidentified individuals. In response to these complaints, both HYDRAA and the Revenue Department conducted a site verification and subsequently carried out the demolitions.

The prompt and effective response of HYDRAA has garnered praise from the local community, indicating their appreciation for the agency’s efforts. Commissioner AV Ranganath and the entire organisation have been commended for their role in safeguarding government land from illegal occupation.

Tahsildar Radha confirmed that the demolitions were executed under the orders of Commissioner AV Ranganath and were part of HYDRAA’s ongoing operations. She noted that approximately 10 structures were demolished and that notices had been issued to several encroachers.
