HYDRAA clears park encroachment in Chandanagar
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) demolished illegal constructions on park land in Bhavanipuram of Chandanagar after residents complained about encroachment.
The HYDRAA team carried out the demolition amid heavy police deployment. Officials said the structures had come up on land earmarked for a public park.
Residents’ complaint triggers action
Residents approached authorities alleging that the park land in the colony had been encroached upon. Acting on the complaint, HYDRAA officials inspected the site and demolished the illegal constructions.
Warning against encroachments
Officials warned that strict action would be taken against anyone occupying government land or spaces reserved for parks.
