Hyderguda Apartment Fire Contained, No Casualties

HYDERABAD: A fire broke out in a residential apartment at Hyderguda under the Rajendranagar police station limits in Rangareddy district on Monday. The incident triggered panic among residents, who rushed out of the building after noticing smoke and flames from a third-floor flat.
Lamp Triggers Fire in Flat
According to preliminary information, the fire originated from a lamp lit inside a flat on the third floor of Janapriya Marvel Apartments. The flames quickly spread to household items inside the residence, filling parts of the building with smoke.
Residents alerted emergency services and evacuated the premises as a precaution.
Firefighters Bring Blaze Under Control
Fire and rescue personnel reached the spot soon after receiving information and launched firefighting operations. The blaze was brought under control before it could spread to neighbouring flats, officials said.
Police and fire department personnel inspected the flat and assessed the extent of the damage.
No Loss of Life Reported
Police said there was no loss of life or injuries in the incident. However, furniture, household articles and other belongings in the flat were damaged in the fire.
Authorities are assessing the value of the property loss. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the incident, though preliminary findings indicate that the fire spread from the lamp lit inside the house.
