Hyderabad: Hyderabadi biryani has secured a place on the global culinary list, ranking 31st among the world’s 100 best dishes. This ranking is based on 367,847 valid ratings from 11,258 dishes in the Taste Atlas database.

In the top 100, several Indian dishes are highlighted. Murgh Makhani (Butter Chicken) takes the 29th spot, with iconic restaurants like Karim’s, Moti Mahal, and Gulati in New Delhi being recognised for their exceptional versions of the dish.

Hyderabadi Biryani ranks 31st, with the most iconic spots to enjoy it being Bawarchi, Hotel Shadab, and other famed local eateries in Hyderabad.

Chicken 65, a popular deep-fried dish, holds the 97th position. Iconic spots serving this dish include Buhari in Chennai, Biryani Blues in Gurugram, and Bheema’s in Bangalore.

Keema, a minced meat dish, rounds out the top 100 at 100th place, with Leopold Cafe in Mumbai, Pal Dhaba in Chandigarh, and Cafe Lota in New Delhi being noted for their versions.
