Hyderabad summit postponed as organisers cite unforeseen issues

HYDERABAD: The Young Entrepreneurs Summit 2025, scheduled to open at HITEX in Madhapur on December 12, has been postponed, leaving participants and exhibitors disappointed.

The three-day programme, known as the Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES), was planned for December 12, 13 and 14. The event, endorsed by the state government, had support from the Telangana Government Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation, T-Hub, WE-Hub and other agencies.

More than 40 entrepreneurs, policymakers and industry leaders were expected to speak. Over 300 exhibitors and 30 workshops had been lined up.

Organisers apologise for postponement

The organisers issued a statement apologising for the disruption.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the YES 2025 summit scheduled for December 12–14 at HITEX is being postponed. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to delegates, speakers, women entrepreneurs and all exhibitors associated with 2025,” the statement said.

Opposition questions government’s decision

Bharat Rashtra Samithi spokesperson Manne Krishank criticised the Congress government on X, saying, “After the Global Summit turning flop with bogus and shell companies, fearing low turnout, the Congress government cancels the Young Entrepreneurs Summit, which was part of the Global Summit.”
