Hyderabad: Hyderabad is expected to witness intense storms starting Sunday, according to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the city and several districts across Telangana, warning residents to prepare for rain and thundershowers over the coming days.

The alert will remain in effect until Wednesday, as weather conditions are likely to remain unstable. Alongside the expected rainfall, temperatures across the region are anticipated to drop significantly. While Hyderabad recorded a scorching high of 41.6°C in Shaikpet just yesterday, the mercury is now likely to dip to around 36°C during the next four days.

Adding to the forecast, well-known weather analyst T. Balaji, known for his accurate predictions, has also signaled the possibility of strong thunderstorms in Hyderabad and surrounding areas.

Authorities advise residents to stay updated with official weather bulletins and take necessary precautions during this period of expected weather volatility.
