Hyderabad to host Wings India 2026 aviation event

Hyderabad: Hyderabad will host Wings India 2026, a global aviation event, from January 28 to 31 at Begumpet Airport, with Telangana as the host state.
A high level preparatory meeting was held on Monday at the Telangana State Secretariat to review arrangements for the event. The meeting was chaired by Vikas Raj, Special Chief Secretary, Transport, Roads and Buildings, and attended by Asangba Chuba Ao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, along with senior officials from the General Administration Department, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Fire Services, Police, Traffic Police and Begumpet Airport authorities.
Global participation expected
Officials said the event will see participation from delegations representing Ghana, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Qatar, Iran, Russia, Mozambique, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Ministers, civil aviation authorities and members of diplomatic missions are expected to attend.
Chief executives and senior leadership from global aviation firms, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Etihad, GE Aerospace, United Aircraft Corporation, Thai Airways, Akasa Air and Ilyushin PJSC, will take part. Aircraft on static display will include Air India’s Boeing 787, the Airbus A220 and Dassault aircraft.
States, exhibitors and schedule
Six states Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have confirmed participation. Around 98 companies will take part as exhibitors.
Business conferences and B2B meetings are scheduled for January 28 and 29. Public participation, air shows, student competitions and flying displays will be held on January 30 and 31.
The arrangements are being reviewed at the highest level, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy monitoring preparations for the event.
