Telangana weather turns cooler amid rain activity

HYDERABAD: Weather conditions in Telangana have turned cooler, with minimum temperatures recorded across several parts of the state, the Meteorological Department in Hyderabad said.
The change is attributed to a surface circulation and trough over the Bay of Bengal, which has brought light to moderate rainfall over the past few days.

Officials said scattered showers are likely to continue, with some areas witnessing thunderstorms. People heading to fields have been advised not to take shelter under trees during lightning.
Farmers advised to protect standing crops
The department warned that unseasonal rain could damage crops. Farmers cultivating paddy, maize and chilli have been advised to take precautionary steps to safeguard their produce.
