Water supply disruption in parts of Hyderabad on October 24-25
Hyderabad: The parts of Hyderabad city will face a 24-hour interruption in drinking water supply due to essential repairs on the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-3. A leak has been discovered in the 2,375 mm MS pumping main that delivers water to several parts of the city.
Officials from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) have stated that the repair work will begin at 6 a.m. on October 24 and is expected to conclude by 6 a.m. on October 25.
The neighbourhoods affected by the repairs include Shastripuram, Bandlaguda, Bhojagutta, Lalapet, Mallikarjuna Nagar, Shamshabad, Shaikpet, Jubilee Hills, and Filmnagar.
To reduce inconvenience, HMWSSB officials are urging residents in these areas to use water preciously during this time.
