Hyderabad traffic police bar two-wheelers on four flyovers after 10 pm for Shab-e-Qadar

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have prohibited two-wheelers from using four major flyovers in the city after 10 pm on the night of March 16-17, coinciding with Shab-e-Qadar, also known as ‘Jaagne Ki Raat’ celebrations.
The restrictions cover the Dr Manmohan Singh Express flyover (Zoo Park to Aramghar), Bahadurpura flyover (Devi Bagh to Zoo Park Gate No. 2), Chandrayangutta flyover (Nayara Petrol Pump, Hashamabad to Phoolbagh DLRL), and Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam flyover (Pisalbanda to Laxma Reddy Garden Function Hall).
Traffic authorities said the move is aimed at ensuring road safety and preventing untoward incidents during the night. Commuters have been urged to note the restrictions and cooperate with the traffic police.
