Night Time Traffic Diversions In Hyderabad For Lakdikapul Storm Water Drain Work

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions will be in place in the city on December 20, 2025, between 17.00 and 22.00 IST in view of the Christmas feast celebrations at LB Stadium, which will be attended by the chief minister.

Police said traffic will either be stopped or diverted at several points depending on real-time conditions.

Diversions around Basheerbagh–Nampally stretch

Traffic from AR Petrol Pump Junction towards BJR Statue will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally Railway Station.
Vehicles from Basheerbagh towards AR Petrol Pump will be diverted at BJR Statue towards SBI, Abids and Nampally Station Road.
Traffic from Sujatha School lane towards Khan Lateef Khan building will be diverted at Sujatha School junction towards Nampally.

Junctions to avoid between 17.00 and 22.00 IST

Motorists have been advised to avoid Lakdi-ka-pool, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, AR Petrol Pump, KLK Building and Liberty during the specified hours.

RTC bus diversions

RTC buses operating from Ravindra Bharathi towards BJR Statue will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally Railway Station as required, officials added.
