According to the clarification, any message claiming discounts on pending traffic e-challans is false and fraudulent. The public has been advised not to believe or act on such misleading information.

Citizens were also reminded that sharing or forwarding fake messages could lead to confusion and is a punishable offense under the law. They were urged to verify the facts before sharing any such messages.
