HYDERABAD: Moderate traffic congestion is expected on the stretch between Irrum Manzil Metro Station and Panjagutta Junction from April 26 to May 20, 2026, due to ongoing road cutting works for a stormwater drain.

The works are being carried out from Asiatic Hotel to H. No. 6-3-492 near Panjagutta Market, covering Metro Pillars A1124 to A1118. Authorities said the activity will be undertaken daily between 08.00 and 20.00 IST.

Key arterial stretch to face daytime congestion

Traffic movement from Irrum Manzil towards Panjagutta Junction and adjoining areas is likely to be affected during the period. Commuters have been advised to avoid the stretch and plan their travel in advance.

Officials said delays are expected, particularly during peak hours, due to lane restrictions and ongoing excavation.
