Traffic curbs on Necklace Road route for Kharge rally
HYDERABAD: Traffic diversions will be enforced on a need basis in parts of Hyderabad on July 25, 2026, from 16.00 IST to 20.00 IST in connection with a candlelight rally led by Congress president and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge.
Diversions along People’s Plaza–Necklace Road route
The rally will proceed from People’s Plaza to the Indira Gandhi Statue at Necklace Rotary. Hyderabad Traffic Police said diversions would be implemented depending on traffic conditions along the route.
Congestion expected at key junctions
Traffic congestion is expected near VV Statue, Old Police Station Junction at Lakdikapul, Iqbal Minar Junction, Secretariat Junction and the Ranigunj area.
