Night traffic diversions at Mehdipatnam for skywalk work on April 21–23
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Traffic Police will divert traffic near Mehdipatnam Rythu Bazar and the Secunderabad bus stop during the nights of April 21–23 due to ongoing skywalk construction.
The diversions will be in place on the nights of April 21/22 and April 22/23 from 12:00 am to 6:00 am to ease traffic flow and prevent congestion.
Diversions for vehicles from Masab Tank
Traffic moving from Masab Tank, NMDC, and Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital towards Rethibowli–Nanal Nagar will divert at PVNR Expressway pillars 2 and 3 near Azizia Mosque.
Motorists will pass via Meraj Cafe, turn right at pillar 15 towards Mehdipatnam, and then rejoin the main route.
Diversions for Nanal Nagar-bound traffic
Traffic from Tolichowki, Langer House, and Attapur heading towards Masab Tank via Nanal Nagar–Rethibowli will divert at pillar 23 of the PVNR Expressway.
Commuters should take a U-turn and continue in the opposite direction before merging back near pillars 4 and 5.
Police advised commuters to follow official Hyderabad Traffic Police social media channels and plan their travel in advance.
For emergencies, commuters can call the traffic helpline at 9010203626, said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis.
Authorities urged citizens to use alternative routes and cooperate during the diversion period.
