Traffic diversion sign near Kulsumpura during sewer pipeline repair work in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Traffic diversions will be in place within the limits of Kulsumpura Traffic Police Station from January 24 to January 25, 2026, due to sewerage pipeline repair works being taken up by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage (HMWS) Department.

The excavation work is being carried out to address a leakage in the sewerage pipeline between Laxmi Nagar, near pillar No. 68, and Balika Bhavan. The work is scheduled for two days.

As part of the traffic regulation, all vehicles coming from Attapur will not be allowed to proceed towards Balika Bhavan and the flour mill. Traffic will instead be diverted at pillar No. 68 towards Rethibowli, Nanal Nagar, and then onwards to Balika Bhavan and the flour mill.

Hyderabad Traffic Police have appealed to commuters to plan their travel accordingly and follow traffic updates shared on their official social media platforms, including the Hyderabad Traffic Police Facebook page and the @HYDTP handle on X.

In case of travel-related emergencies, commuters can contact the traffic help line at 9010203626 for assistance.

The advisory was issued by D. Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad, who requested citizens to cooperate with the traffic police during the repair period.
