Traffic curbs in Kukatpally for ‘Akhanda 2’ event

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions will be in place in Hyderabad on Friday evening for the pre-release event of Akhanda 2 in Kukatpally.
Cyberabad traffic police said the curbs will be enforced from 4pm to 11pm as a large crowd of fans is expected at the venue.
Diversions announced
Vehicles coming from Bharat Nagar–Erragadda towards the Y-junction will be diverted. Traffic from Bharat Nagar and Erragadda heading towards the Moosapet GHMC office will be diverted towards the Kukatpally Y-junction, officials said.
Authorities have also altered the IDL Lake route. Vehicles from the Kukatpally Y-junction towards IDL Lake will now be redirected towards JNTU.
Police warned that surrounding routes may witness congestion because of the expected crowd.
