Hyderabad traffic advisory for Republic Day reception
HYDERABAD: Traffic congestion is expected on Lok Bhavan Road on January 26, 2026, due to the Republic Day reception hosted by the Governor of Telangana at Lok Bhavan, the city traffic police said.
The reception, scheduled from 6 pm, is likely to draw a large number of dignitaries and guests. As a result, traffic movement on both sides of Lok Bhavan Road from Monappa Island to V.V. Statue Junction at Khairatabad is expected to slow down between 3 pm and 9 pm.

Commuters have been advised to avoid the stretch during the affected hours and take alternative routes to reach their destinations. The advisory was issued by the Hyderabad Traffic Police.
