Night-time traffic curbs at Panjagutta–Ameerpet stretch from April 19 to 25

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions will be in place between Panjagutta and Ameerpet for a week due to road cutting works for laying a sewerage pipeline, the Hyderabad Traffic Police said on April 18.
The work will be carried out near Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital at Panjagutta from April 19 to April 25, between 23.00 IST and 04.00 IST. Authorities said congestion is expected in and around Panjagutta and Ameerpet during these hours.
Sewer pipeline work to disrupt late-night movement
The project involves laying a 40 mm diameter RCC NP4 sewerage pipeline. Police warned that traffic congestion is likely not only on the main stretch between Ameerpet and Panjagutta in both directions, but also on connecting roads in the surrounding areas.
Commuters have been advised to avoid the affected route during the specified hours and use alternative roads to reach their destinations.
Helpline and social media updates for commuters
The traffic police urged the public to follow updates on its official social media platforms, including the Hyderabad Traffic Police Facebook page and the @HYDTP Twitter handle.
“In case of any emergency in travel, kindly call our traffic helpline 9010203626 for assistance,” the advisory stated. Citizens have been asked to cooperate with authorities and plan travel accordingly.
