Holi, Sikh procession on March 4: Traffic curbs from Central Gurudwara to Attapur

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory for Holi Mahela celebrations and a Sikh procession on March 4, 2026.
The procession will start at 15:30 IST from Central Gurudwara. It will move towards Barambala Gurudwara, Attapur. Along the way, it passes Shankar Sher Hotel, Mehaboob Gunj, S A Bazar Mosque, Barthan Bazar, Swasti Mirchi, Begum Bazar Chatri, Chudi Bazar, Rani Avanthi Bai statue, Tukkerwadi T-Junction, Gandhi statue, Purana Pool X Road, Purana Pool Darwaza, and Gurudwara Kishanbagh.
Authorities expect moderate traffic congestion. Therefore, diversions will operate from 15:30 IST to 22:30 IST.
Diversions at Key Junctions
- Vehicles from Afzal Gunj to M J Market will turn at Afzal Gunj T-Junction towards Central Library.
- Vehicles from M J Market to Afzal Gunj will move via Malakunta, Alaska, Chatri, and M J Bridge while the procession passes S A Bazar Mosque.
- Vehicles from M J Bridge to Chatri will turn towards Jummerath Bazar or Dental College during the procession.
- Vehicles from 100 Feet Road, Jiyaguda, or Karwan to Purana Pool Darwaza will turn at Purana Pool X Road towards Jummerath Bazar and M J Bridge.
- Vehicles from Gandhi statue to Purana Pool Darwaza will divert at Purana Pool X Road towards 100 Feet Road.
