Traffic Diversions In Hyderabad For Kingdom Pre Release Event At Yousufguda

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place on January 24, 2026, in parts of south Hyderabad in view of the proposed Dharma Raksha Sabha meeting at Balapur village, the Hyderabad Traffic Police said in an advisory.

The meeting is scheduled from 15.00 to 18.30 IST within the limits of Traffic Police Station Chandrayangutta. Depending on traffic conditions, police may stop or divert vehicles on select routes.

Road closures and diversions

According to the advisory, the road from Keshavgiri and Hafeez Baba Nagar towards Ganesh Chowk will be closed. Commuters are advised to use alternate routes via Chandrayangutta, Phisalbanda, Kanchanbagh and Balapur.

Traffic movement is also likely to be affected from Balapur towards Shivaji Chowk and from the airport side towards Shivaji Chowk. Motorists have been asked to take alternative routes to avoid delays.

The police urged citizens to plan their travel in advance during the indicated hours. The Hyderabad Traffic helpline (9010203626) will be available for travel-related information. Commuters can also report inconvenience through the traffic police social media platforms.

The advisory was issued by D Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad, with a request to print and electronic media to publish and telecast the information.
