Hyderabad To See Temperatures Soar Above 36°c In Early March

Hyderabad: Telangana Weatherman, Balaji, has issued his weather forecast for March 2025, predicting a sharp rise in temperatures across the state. According to Balaji’s update on social media, the period from March 2-5 will bring extremely hot conditions, with temperatures expected to reach up to 38-40°C in East and North Telangana and 36-38°C in Hyderabad.

Balaji further explained, “Temperatures will start rising now. During March 2-5, we will experience super hot weather. In East and North Telangana, temperatures may touch 38-40°C, while Hyderabad could see 36-38°C.” He also mentioned that from March 6-8, a brief period of relief could occur, with slightly cooler mornings and nights, and day temperatures reducing by 1-2°C.

However, he cautioned that after March 8, another spike in temperatures is expected. “Overall, we can expect a roller coaster weather pattern from March 1-10,” Balaji added.

The forecast also mentions that no rainfall is expected in the next 10 days, contributing to the ongoing heatwave. As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures this summer are expected to remain above normal, both during the day and night, from March to May.

In light of the rising temperatures, experts have shared some tips to stay safe and healthy in the heat:
1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and consume hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables.
2. Sun Protection: Use sunscreen with SPF 30+ and wear sunglasses. Opt for light, breathable clothing.
3. Outdoor Activities: Schedule outdoor activities during early mornings or evenings to avoid the midday heat.
4. Cool Your Space: Use fans, air conditioning, or homemade ice packs to keep your home cool.
5. Light Summer Meals: Choose refreshing salads, grilled foods, and cold dishes to stay cool.

Residents are urged to stay prepared and take necessary precautions to cope with the heat as temperatures rise throughout March.
