Hyderabad to experience heatwave with temperatures reaching 37°C, says Telangana Weatherman

Hyderabad: Telangana Weatherman, a local weather expert, on February 18, 2025, issued a warning regarding the ongoing heatwave, predicting that today and tomorrow will be the hottest days of the current heat spell. Temperatures are expected to reach 36-37°C in parts of Hyderabad and 38-39°C in northern Telangana.
In his update, the expert also stated that temperatures are expected to slightly decrease between February 20-25. However, the rise in humidity will keep the temperatures in Hyderabad between 33-35°C, while eastern Telangana could experience temperatures around 36-37°C.

Looking ahead, he warned that temperatures are likely to rise again starting February 27 as the region heads into March.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the lowest minimum temperatures recorded across Telangana on February 18, 2025, were Medak at 14.0°C, Adilabad at 18.7°C, Ramagundam and Hanmakonda at 19.5°C, Nizamabad at 19.7°C, and Hyderabad and Nalgonda at 19.8°C.
