Intense thunderstorms likely across parts of Hyderabad in next hour
HYDERABAD: Scattered intense thunderstorms are likely to impact several parts of Hyderabad within the next one hour, according to weather alerts issued on Sunday.
Areas expected to be affected initially include Alwal, Bollaram, Kompally, Balanagar, Malkajgiri, Kapra, Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Qutbullapur and Jeedimetla.
Rain likely to spread across key residential zones
The storm activity is forecast to gradually move and cover central and eastern parts of the city, including Begumpet, Uppal, Nacharam, Mallapur and Ghatkesar.
 charlapalli and surrounding areas may also experience rainfall as the system progresses.
Short-duration but high-intensity weather expected
The alert indicates short-duration but intense thunderstorms, with possible gusty winds and lightning in isolated pockets.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious during the weather activity, particularly in open areas and while commuting.
