Tragic end for Hyderabad thief attempting burglary in Yellareddyguda
Hyderabad: A late-night burglary attempt turned deadly in Hyderabad. A suspected thief met a tragic end when a storage rack toppled over on him, crushing him to death.
On Sunday, in the wee hours, the suspect tried to open the heavy storage rack before it fell, fatally crushing him. Going further into details, “The incident, which occurred around 3:30 AM in front of Agra Sweet House, was captured on CCTV, showing the man struggling with the rack before it fell, fatally crushing him” Said police. Madhuranagar police are investigating the incident and working to identify the deceased.
According to the Madhuranagar police, the man, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, was trying to open the storage unit outside the fast food dabba. CCTV footage from the area captured the moments leading up to the incident, showing the man struggling with the rack before it toppled over, crushing him under its weight.
“The body was discovered at around 6:00 AM. Police arrived at the scene and recovered the dead boy and shifted to Gandhi Hospital for Post mortem examination,” said police. Further police started an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Madhuranagar police have collected the CCTV footage as part of their investigation and are working to identify the deceased. Meanwhile Police appealed to the public not to believe fake news which are being circulated on social media.
