Hyderabad likely to cross 35°C in four days

HYDERABAD: Summer conditions have begun early in the city, with day temperatures rising steadily.
Temperatures usually recorded in the first week of March have begun in the third week of February. On Tuesday, the city recorded a maximum of 31.2°C and a minimum of 18.9°C.
Officials of the India Meteorological Department said day temperatures may cross 35°C in the next four days.
With rising heat, the use of air conditioners and coolers in offices and homes is expected to increase. Officials said power consumption is also likely to go up.
Over the past four days, electricity demand in Greater Hyderabad has ranged between 64 million units and 67 million units.

Tuesday: 31.2°C – 18.9°C
Monday: 31.7°C – 18.4°C
Sunday: 32.7°C – 18.4°C
Saturday: 31.4°C – 18.1°C
