Hyderabad double murder shocks Tellapur
HYDERABAD: A woman and a minor boy were murdered in a shocking incident in Tellapur on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Police said a man allegedly killed the two and then attempted suicide by slitting his own throat.

The incident occurred at Jyotirao Phule Colony in Tellapur. The accused, identified as Shivaraj, and the woman, Chandrakala, had moved into the locality five days ago. They introduced themselves to locals as a married couple.
Police suspect family dispute
Police said Shivaraj allegedly killed Chandrakala and the child before attempting to take his own life using a blade. Neighbours alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted Shivaraj to a hospital for treatment. The bodies of the woman and the child were sent for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered and an investigation is under way. Police said preliminary inquiry suggests that the murders may have been triggered by family disputes.
