Telangana governor flags off Sri Rama procession

HYDERABAD:Â Shiv Pratap Shukla on Friday flagged off the Sri Rama Navami procession in the city.
The procession will move from Seetharambagh temple to Hanuman Vyayamshala in Sultan Bazar.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said organising the Sri Rama Navami procession in the city for several years is commendable.
Event reflects unity and devotion among participants
He said the Ramayana holds a distinct place in Indian culture. He urged people to take inspiration from Lord Rama as an ideal son, husband and person.
The governor added that the procession reflects unity and devotion among people.
