Hyderabad speeding crashes kill three in separate incidents

HYDERABAD: Two young men died in a speeding motorcycle crash at LB Nagar in the early hours of Sunday, while a separate accident at Nacharam claimed the life of another 23-year-old.
Friends killed in LB Nagar crash
Inspector Saidi Reddy said Gulla Madhu, 32, who lived in Prajal Nivas Phase-2 near Mohan Nagar and worked as a CCTV technician, went out on Saturday night to meet his friend Kornepati Ramachandra Harish, 32, an outsourcing employee with Nizamabad Municipal Corporation.
Madhu told his family he would return late and asked them to sleep. Around dawn, Harish was riding his motorcycle towards Dilsukhnagar from LB Nagar at high speed when he lost control near VM Home Metro Station and hit the divider.
Harish, who was riding the bike, and Madhu, who was on the pillion, were thrown onto the road. Both suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Police said neither wore a helmet.
One dead in Mallapur–Nacharam accident
In a separate incident, Nacharam police said Abhishek Kumar Singh, 23, a businessman from New Bhavaninagar, set out on a motorcycle around midnight with his friend Sachin, a CCTV technician from Srinivas Colony, Boduppal.
As they were returning from Suryanagar Colony towards Abhishek’s home, their bike rammed a stationary scooter near the NFC Crossroads and then crashed into an iron-fenced drinking water pipeline wall.
Abhishek died on the spot from head injuries, while Sachin sustained injuries. Police have registered cases and begun inquiries.
