HYDERABAD: RTC starts shuttle services on new routes

Aging RTC Buses in Hyderabad Still Emit Heavy Pollution

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad division of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) has identified high passenger-density routes and launched shuttle services to ease short-distance travel.

Miyapur-1 depot manager Sudha said additional shuttle services will operate on four routes from Monday to cater to commuters.

Metro Deluxe buses run on select corridors

On Route 1, Metro Deluxe buses will run from Miyapur Metro Station to WaveRock via Allwyn X Road, Hafeezpet, Kondapur, Kothaguda and Gachibowli X Road from 6.10 am.

On Route 2, services will operate from Miyapur Metro Station to Gachibowli IT corridor (Infor/IT towers stretch) via Allwyn X Road, Hafeezpet, Kondapur, Kothaguda and Gachibowli X Road from 6.40 am.

Hourly services from morning till night

Officials said buses will run every hour from morning till night based on passenger demand.

On Route 3, services will run from Miyapur X Road to Bollaram village from 6.45 am.

On Route 4, buses will operate from JNTU Metro Bus Station to Bachupally via Nizampet X Road and Telugu University from 6.30 am.
