Rowdy sheeter arrested for assaulting electronics shop owner in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A 24-year-old rowdy sheeter was arrested by Hyderabad police on February 14 for allegedly assaulting an electronics shop owner and damaging his vehicle in Attapur.
The accused, Mohammed Salman, alias Chota Salman, is a resident of Hakim Hills in Suleman Nagar.
According to Attapur police station Station House Officer K Nageshwar Rao, the incident occurred two days ago when Salman allegedly went to Syed Furkhan’s electronics shop and assaulted him with a wooden stick.
“He beat up the shop owner and also damaged a Scorpio car parked near the shop,” Rao said.
Police registered a case against the accused. He was later produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
No injuries details were immediately disclosed.
