Rayadurgam Land Auction Fetches ₹204 Crore an Acre

HYDERABAD: Land parcels in Rayadurgam once again commanded record prices in Hyderabad, with an acre fetching ₹204 crore in an auction conducted on Monday.
The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) auctioned 5.09 acres of land. The highest bid worked out to ₹204 crore per acre.
Rayadurgam Continues To Attract High Bids
The latest auction comes just two days after another land auction in Rayadurgam, where an acre fetched ₹237 crore. While the price in the latest auction was lower than the previous round, it remained among the highest recorded for government land in the area.
TGIIC has been conducting a series of public auctions of government land. Land parcels in Kokapet and Rayadurgam continue to attract strong demand, resulting in record bids.
Record Prices Boost State Revenue
The high-value auctions have generated substantial revenue for the state government. Across the two phases of auctions, TGIIC has earned about ₹2,500 crore for the government.
