Heavy rain triggers waterlogging, traffic delays in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Scattered rain hit several parts of Hyderabad on Thursday, including Gachibowli, Lingampally, Kondapur, Kukatpally, Ameerpet, Begumpet, Secunderabad and Malkajgiri, causing waterlogging in some low-lying areas.
Heavy rain flooded Karbala Maidan, slowing traffic in the area.
Hyderabad Traffic Police deployed personnel to manage traffic and reduce congestion.
Police advised commuters to drive carefully, expect delays and follow traffic personnel’s instructions. Motorists should avoid the affected stretch if possible and use alternative routes until traffic conditions improve.
