Telangana districts to receive rain, IMD says
HYDERABAD: The India Meteorological Department said several parts of Telangana are likely to receive rain on Monday, with a focus on northern districts.
Officials in Hyderabad said moderate rainfall is expected in Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad and Medak districts.
The department said the rain will be accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in some areas.
Thunderstorms likely across northern Telangana
Officials said parts of northern Telangana may witness thunder and lightning along with rainfall.
They warned of lightning strikes in isolated places and urged caution among people working outdoors.
Advisory issued for farmers
Agriculture officials advised farmers to take steps to protect crops from weather damage.
They also urged farmers and field workers to avoid standing under trees or near electric poles during lightning.
