Hyderabad Police Heroically Aid in Delivery

Hyderabad: In a heartwarming gesture, Rachakonda facilitated a delivery of a pregnant woman from Karnataka under Madgul police station of Rachakonda Commissionerate limits on Monday night.

Going further into details, On Monday night, Rachakonda police received a Dial 100 call from a good samaritan who informed them about a pregnant woman in distress. The Rachakonda police swiftly acted and reached the spot. Upon reaching the spot, the police found the woman unable to communicate clearly and in a distressed condition.

When enquired, the pregnant woman was revealed that her name is Kummi Bai, had traveled from Polepalli village in Chincholi Mandal, Karnataka, a week ago. Subsequently she gave a mobile number of her village elder. Immediately the police contacted the person who verified the details and informed the police about a missing person’s complaint filed in Chincholi police station. Further the village elder informed about the pregnant woman’s brother staying in Hyderabad named rahul. Subsequently Rachakonda police contacted Rahul.

“As the woman was experiencing severe labor pains, the police officers, Rajender PC-3521 and Suresh HG-1906, quickly made arrangements for her immediate medical attention. However, before they could transport her to a hospital, the woman went into labor. With remarkable presence of mind, the officers sought the help of local women and assisted in delivering the baby right there on the spot. Subsequently, the mother and newborn were safely transported to Koti Maternity Hospital, where they are being treated.

The Rachakonda Commissioner, G. Sudheer Babu emphasized the importance of community policing and the need for law enforcement agencies to be responsive to the needs of the people, especially in times of crisis. Further Rachakonda Commissioner said that the officers and staff are working tirelessly to maintain peace and security in Rachakonda Commissionerate and are available through dial 100 and 112 for immediate response in case of emergency. The Rachakonda Commissioner, G. Sudheer Babu, and the DCP of Maheshwaram Zone, Smt. D. Sunita Reddy,commended the Patrol car staff Rajender PC-3521 and Suresh HG-1906 who responded promptly and performed their duties with commitment and humanely supported the woman.
