Hyderabad petrol price rises to ₹115.73 per litre

HYDERABAD: Petrol and diesel prices have increased once again, adding to the burden on consumers across Telangana. Oil marketing companies announced a fresh hike in fuel rates, taking the number of increases in the past 10 days to four.
Petrol prices have been raised by ₹2.84 per litre, while diesel prices have gone up by ₹2.86 per litre. The revised rates came into effect from Friday morning.
Fuel prices touch new highs in Hyderabad
Following the latest increase, petrol in Hyderabad is now priced at ₹115.73 per litre, while diesel costs ₹103.82 per litre.
The repeated hikes have triggered concerns among consumers, who fear further increases in the coming days. With several days still left in the month, uncertainty remains over fuel prices.
Rising fuel costs may impact household budgets
Higher fuel prices are expected to increase transportation costs, which could push up the prices of essential commodities and vegetables. Economists also warn that sustained fuel price increases could contribute to inflationary pressure.
Petrol and diesel prices have risen by more than ₹7 per litre through four hikes in just 10 days, adding pressure on household finances and increasing the cost of living.
