DCM rams parked container truck on Hyderabad ORR; one dies
HYDERABAD: One person died and another sustained serious injuries after a DCM vehicle rammed a stationary container truck from behind on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamirpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred while the DCM vehicle was travelling from Keesara towards Medchal. The vehicle reportedly crashed into a container truck that was stationary on the road.
One of the occupants of the DCM died on the spot. Another person suffered serious injuries and was shifted for treatment.
Investigation under way
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information about the accident. A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the circumstances that led to the crash.
