Heartbreak in Hyderabad as two children die in separate incidents
HYDERABAD: A nine-month-old girl allegedly died after her mother threw her into Bairamalguda Lake in LB Nagar on Sunday. In a separate incident, a four-year-old girl was killed in a road accident in Balanagar, police said.
Mother detained after infant found dead in lake
Police detained a 34-year-old woman from Injapur after her nine-month-old daughter allegedly died when she was thrown into Bairamalguda Lake in LB Nagar.
Police suspect the woman was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. They are investigating the circumstances that led to the infant’s death. The motive is yet to be established.
Four-year-old dies in Balanagar road accident
A four-year-old girl died after the two-wheeler she was travelling on with her uncle reportedly lost control and came under a lorry in Padmanagar Phase-1 of Balanagar.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
