Can’t forget the support given by Hyderabadis when in Jail: Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad : Telugu Desam party supremo and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad on Sunday. Naidu was given a warm welcome by the Telangana TDP leaders and cadre, following which, Chandrababu Naidu addressed the gathering.
Naidu recalled how he got support from the Hyderabadi people when he was in Jail. “I was put in jail without any valid reason. But that day, the way Hyderabad supported me. I cannot forget the support given by the thousands of Hyderabadi who have supported me. When a meeting was conducted in Wipro circle or in Gachibowli, though we don’t have such aggressive leadership here, every person turned into a leader and came forward for me. I saw these visuals from jail and felt very happy,” said Naidu. He further added that he felt proud that his work got him recognition and support from people.
Naidu also added that “Though we have not contested in the elections, the way you all have come forward shows the kind of support. You all have worked for the victory directly or indirectly in Andhra Pradesh. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao founded this Telugu Desam Party here in Hyderabad. On that day, he did not come for politics or power, but he came to protect Telugu society.”
