HYDERABAD: A late-night drinking session ended in a fatal assault at Nacharam.
Glass dispute turns violent
Two brothers, Stifford Rohan Sayers, 30, and Leonard Lionel Sayers, 28, were consuming liquor on the terrace of their residential building around midnight on Sankranti. A dispute broke out when the elder brother asked the younger for a glass, police said.
Pushed from terrace
During the argument, Leonard allegedly pushed Stifford from the terrace of the three-storey building. Neighbours rushed the injured man to a hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
Police action
Nacharam Police arrested the accused and registered a case.
