Hyderabad mother pushes seven-year-old daughter from building

HYDERABAD: A tragic incident was reported from Gautham Nagar under the Malkajgiri police station limits in Hyderabad.
In Vasanthapuri Colony, a seven-year-old girl was pushed down from a three-storey building by her mother on Monday evening.
Child succumbs to injuries
The girl suffered severe injuries after falling onto the staircase of a neighbouring building. Local residents rushed her to Gandhi Hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment.
Mother has mental health issues
Circle Inspector Satyanarayana said the girl’s parents have been living in Vasanthapuri Colony for the past 20 years. The father works in a private company and supports the family. The mother has been suffering from mental health problems, police said.
Malkajgiri police have registered a case and are investigating.
