Hyderabad: Man assaults minor girl in KPHB
HYDERABAD: A minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man she met on a train, police said. The incident falls under the limits of the Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) police station.
According to police, the girl met the accused while travelling to her native village. He gained her trust with false promises, took her phone number and stayed in frequent contact.
Assaults reported after accused visited KPHB
Police said the accused later came to KPHB Colony to meet the girl and allegedly assaulted her multiple times.
Suicide attempt leads to complaint
A few days ago, the girl went to her aunt’s house, where she allegedly consumed pesticide in a suicide attempt. When family members questioned her, the incident came to light.
Police initially registered a Zero FIR and later transferred the case to the KPHB police station for investigation.
