Phone snatched at midnight in BN Reddy Vinayak Hills
HYDERABAD: A youth was robbed of his mobile phone by two unidentified men on a motorcycle while he was parking his bike in front of his house shortly after midnight.
According to police, the incident occurred around 1.30 am on Road No. 3 at BN Reddy Vinayak Hills. The assailants arrived on another motorcycle. As soon as the rider halted near the victim, the pillion rider snatched the phone from the youth’s hand and fled within seconds.
The sudden attack left the victim stunned for a few moments. He later attempted to chase the suspects on his bike, but they managed to escape as the streets were largely deserted at the time.
CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity captured the snatching. Police are examining the footage to identify and trace the suspects.
