HYDERABAD: Metro train timings revised; new schedule from November 3

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Metro Rail, operated by Larsen & Toubro (L&T), announced a change in train operation timings effective November 3, 2025.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, trains will now run from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. on all days across all terminals. At present, metro services operate from 6.00 a.m. to 11.45 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The new schedule shortens night operations by 45 minutes.
Part of operational optimisation
L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL), a special purpose vehicle established for building, operating and maintaining the metro, said the revised schedule aims to improve operational efficiency and align services with commuter demand.
“The adjustment in timings has been made after a review of ridership patterns and passenger feedback,” the company said in its release.
One of India’s largest PPP metro projects
Hyderabad Metro, launched in November 2017, is one of India’s largest public-private partnership (PPP) metro projects. The project was awarded by the then Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2010 and operates under the Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) model. L&T holds a 90% stake, while the Telangana government owns 10%.
The 69.2-km Phase-I network runs across three elevated corridors, connecting major residential, business and commercial hubs. The metro carries nearly five lakh passengers daily and is regarded as a key component of Hyderabad’s urban mobility system, helping reduce congestion and pollution.
