Hyderabad Metro services disrupted due to technical glitch
Hyderabad: Metro services in Hyderabad experienced a temporary disruption on Monday, November 4, 2024, due to a technical glitch, leaving commuters stranded due to delays. The affected routes included Nagole to Raidurg and LB Nagar to Miyapur.
According to the reports, the Nagole to Raidurg Metro train was halted at Begumpet Metro Station for nearly 15 minutes because of a malfunction with the doors, which failed to close properly. Passengers on board were left confused and concerned about the disruption in service.
Office workers and IT employees were particularly impacted by the delay, as they rely heavily on the metro for their daily commutes.
Commuters are left questioning the nature of the problem and its resolution.
Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy stated, “Metro trains were suspended for about 15 minutes. We have restored the frequency of trains. A technical problem arose between Begumpet and Raidurg.”
He added, “At present, trains are running as usual. There is no problem for passengers at the moment. Metro trains on the Ameerpet, Miyapur, and Nagole routes were halted due to a problem between Begumpet and Raidurg. We have restored metro services.”
