HYDERABAD: Heat conditions have intensified across Telangana, with several districts witnessing rising temperatures in recent days.

However, the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecast rainfall in parts of the state on March 15 and March 16, offering possible relief from the prevailing heat.

Yellow alert issued for multiple districts

The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for several districts as rain activity is expected during the two days.

Districts likely to receive rainfall include Suryapet, Nalgonda, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad.

Rain likely till March 23

Officials said rainfall activity may continue from March 16 to March 23 due to moisture-laden winds blowing from the southeast.

The weather department said these weather changes are being caused by humid winds moving from the southeast towards the region.
