Hyderabad: A young man from Hyderabad was shot and killed in Washington, DC, United States. The shooting, carried out by unidentified assailants, resulted in his death on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Teja, son of Koyyada Chandramouli, a resident of RK Puram Green Hills Colony, Road No. 2, under Chaitanyapuri Police Station in Hyderabad.

According to the reports, Ravi Teja had moved to the United States in March 2022 to pursue a Masterโ€™s degree. After completing his studies, he had been actively looking for employment.

The news of his death has left his family devastated. While the exact details of the shooting remain unclear, the incident has deeply affected the family, and they are struggling to process the loss. Further details are awaited as authorities continue their investigation.

In another incident, 23-year-old Aryan Reddy, a second-year MS student at Kansas State University, died in an accidental shooting in Atlanta, Georgia. Aryan had been celebrating his birthday on November 13 when he attempted to clean his newly purchased hunting gun. The gun accidentally discharged, and the bullet fatally wounded him in the chest.

His friends rushed to his room after hearing the gunshot and found him critically injured. Despite their efforts to get him to a hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Aryan’s father, Palvai Sudarshan Reddy, mourned the loss of his only son.

Sandeep Kumar Yadav Dies in Road Accident

In a separate incident, 21-year-old Sandeep Kumar Yadav, a student from Quthbullapur, Hyderabad, died in a road accident in Ohio, USA. Sandeep had been pursuing his Master’s degree in Ohio for two years. On November 17, he was in a car with a friend when their vehicle collided head-on with a speeding car. Sandeep died at the scene, while his friend sustained minor injuries.
