Illegal structures razed in Kondapur

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad civic authorities carried out demolitions of unauthorised structures in Kondapur on Friday. Officials said that the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) used heavy machinery to clear encroachments on government land at Bhikshapati Nagar, adjacent to the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) office.

The demolition drive was conducted amid tight police security. Barricades were erected two kilometres away from the site to prevent locals from entering the area. Officials said no one was allowed near the demolition zone during the operation.
