HYDERABAD: An infant died after an injection allegedly led to complications at a private hospital in Bandlaguda on Saturday.

The child had been admitted after developing a high fever. Doctors administered an injection, following which the infant’s condition deteriorated and she died, according to family members.

Relatives blame doctors for negligence

Alleging medical negligence, the child’s relatives attacked hospital staff. They said the infant died due to the doctor’s carelessness.

Situation turns tense at hospital

The assault led to tension at the hospital premises. Police intervened to bring the situation under control.
