Seven Year Old Boy Murdered In Attapur

HYDERABAD: A 48-year-old hotel worker from Karnataka was found murdered with multiple stab wounds near the Bharatnagar flyover in Sanathnagar on Wednesday morning.

The victim, identified as Shankar, was discovered lying near the flyover with stab injuries. Local residents noticed the body and alerted the police.

Police teams reached the spot, secured the area and shifted the body for post-mortem examination. Clues teams collected forensic evidence from the scene.

During preliminary inquiry, police identified Shankar as a native of Karnataka. He had been residing in Hyderabad for the past two years and was working at a hotel in Moosapet.

Investigators are examining his personal and professional background as part of the probe.

Police suspect that an alleged extramarital relationship could be the motive behind the murder. However, officials said they are investigating all angles to establish the sequence of events and identify the accused.

A case has been registered and efforts are under way to trace and arrest those involved.
